A trial flight is an amazing way to try something new, to challenge yourself, and to appreciate what these gravity deifying aircraft are capable of.
Learn the basics of helicopter flying under the watchful eye of one of our instructors, all the while taking in the breathtaking views of Hawke’s Bay.
When you decide to sit your helicopter licence this flight can be legally logged and go towards the experience requirements for your licence.
We operate the Cabri G2, an advanced helicopter designed primarily for training and private use. It features two seats and boasts a proven safety record, making it an ideal choice for any helicopter trainer and trainee. We call ours 'Piwakawaka' (fantail), this aircraft is celebrated for its safety, economy, and ease of instruction.
Our instructors love the Piwakawaka, and we believe you will too.
