TO COMPLETE YOUR PPL YOU’LL NEED

  • Minimum of 50 hours’ flight time

  • You will get access to the Aroha Helicopters online learning resources to help you pass the following exams:

    Exams

    • FRTO (Flight Radio Telephony Operator)

    • Human Factors

    • Meteorology

    • Navigation and planning

    • Law

    • General Aircraft Technical Knowledge

    • English Proficiency

  • As a private pilot you will need to be medically fit to fly. This is proven by either a class 2 aviation medical certificate or a DL9 medical certificate.
